Safe and Sound in Suwarrow

Samoan earthquake and tsunami news received from our intrepid sailors...

There was an earthquake in Samoa. Lots of boats washed ashore. One person lost. Cars on 2nd story of buildings. Buildings washed away.

We were planning to leave for Samoa on Saturday. Will listen on radio frequency for updates (no internet) on how bad the damage is before we go.

Soooo glad we did not go sooner and get hit. Our friends must have gotten hit, but we have not heard from them.
